J.F. Allen Company builds the new 3.8 mile access road for the National Boy Scout Camp located in Glen Jean. The company receives a performance bonus for completing the project ahead of schedule. Officially called “The Summit Bechtel Family National Reserve”, the facility entrance road leaves a lasting impression on the thousands of Boy Scouts it welcomes every year, including over 300,000 visitors every four years when the site hosts the National Jamboree.
